Biography:
David Yarrow was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1966. He took up photography at an early age and as a 20-year-old found himself working as a photographer for The London Times on the pitch at the World Cup Final in Mexico City. David Yarrow’s images are often characterized by his ability to get close to his subject matter, filling the frame and creating a sense of impact and drama. Yarrow manages to capture images of animals that no other human being has ever managed to attain before. His large monochrome images made in Los Angeles are on display in leading galleries and museums across Europe and North America and his work is also a regular feature at art fairs. By the spring of 2017, he had firmly established himself as one of the bestselling fine art photographers in the world, with the limited edition prints regularly selling at over $70,000 apiece and his well-received recent work is now priced even higher.
